The Image Store is an educational service provided by the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford. It contains field photographs, photomicrographs, photos of teaching specimens, explanatory diagrams and other image-based material, contributed by leading geoscientists and photographers. The medium-resolution images are freely downloadable for non-commercial use. Use the menu buttons on the left to find out more about the database ("About OESIS") and how to use the images ("Image Use"). The search button leads to a simple keyword search page, and an advanced search facility in which you can query particular fields in the database. |
